No trial at all? So just buy it and hope it works for me where so many others (Including Topaz) have failed before? Not a way to get happy customers.

Topaz Photo AI wants $200 (Don't insult my intelligence with, "$199") and apparently has zero free ability to try it. Not spending $200 on something that may not work for me. The Video version does free with watermark, but I can't find it with the photo version. Video version not working great for me. EDIT: Jeez...one Topaz site only sells it, a totally different one has the free trial. You have to hunt it down. EDIT2: I install PhotoAI trial, and it downloads Gigapixel instead! Not the same thing! Getting tired of being screwed with.

So I click on the eye, to see the subject separated (:54). It doesn't separate the subject from the background. Not sure why?

This is honestly so helpful! You start at the beginning with workspace, whereas other tutorials I've watched "for beginners" don't even mention this. Thanks for the instructions, great video. Just a reminder, this ''modification'' style has been fixed by adobe. I guess they don't want us filtering photographs (yet) , it doesn't work on the latest version of photoshop beta, I had to switch to an older version to try it out. I THINK the line in upscayl is bcz of tiling i think they fixed it or idk bcz i dont see any line but in case u have one you can tweat tiling settings in settings

I've been an Adobe user/PS ACE/advocate for 25 years. That ended permanently yesterday. Their competitors are better in the most important ways at a fraction of the price and problems. Affinity (PS), Capture One (LR) and Davinci Resolve (PR/AE). Best of all, you are no longer robbed blind by sociopaths exploiting what most people unfortunately still think is a monopoly.

Hi Unmesh! I've watched you videos for years and have learned so much from you. I still go back and rewatch them from time to time when I can't remember how to do something that's not in my normal workflow. In this video you say there's no reason to use Levels. I think I started using levels to create a slight vignette based on your advice (or it could have been someone else). I only use it in some of my photos, but what I do is move the lower slider (output levels) from 255 to around 220 and then with a very large soft brush (in black) I highlight the subject. So my question is this: Should I be doing this a different/better way? I appreciate that you do say "keep doing it, if it works for you" but I was wondering if you could address this specific use of a Levels layer mask. Thanks man! ~Max

watching this in 2024, I actually never used affinity before, but I would likt to try it out in the future. For my workflow (designing posters and banners), I mainly use Photoshop and Canva. Canva is great for sharing designs with client howeever it is very limited in terms of customizing shapes and image manipulation. That is where photoshop comes in for me. I generate my own elements and items in photoshop and uses canva to generate the final result.

Follow your channel for quite a while and love your excellent content. I would be interested what you think about the recent commotion regarding Adobe's new terms of services and copyright, monitoring private content and unauthorised use of personal content for AI learning. I get the impression that more and more users are willing to leave Adobe and searching for alternatives.
